Selective Poetry and Cloze Passage

This course focusses on two subsections of the Reading section of the Selective High Schools Placement Test: poetry and cloze passage.
- Skill-based comprehension strategies to increase confidence in tackling these subsections
- A range of poems of different forms, from a variety of poets
- Questions assessing different forms of cloze
- Focus on metacognition and higher-order thinking.
